Chris Petroff Biography

Chris Petroff Vice President of Business Development Chris Petroff works with biomedical firms, renewable energy companies and emerging technologies. Petroff recently assisted companies locating into Phoenix including Tiny Prints, ColnaTech and HotChalk.

Prior to joining the Greater Phoenix Economic Council in 2009, Petroff spent nearly seven years in commercial real estate development. He has comprehensive knowledge in both construction and the local real estate market, a background often valuable for site selectors and companies looking to expand or relocate in the region. During his tenure, Petroff played an integral role in the development of WestWing Mountain, Dynamite Mountain Ranch and Vistancia. His commercial expertise extends to several national aviation, medical, high-rise and industrial projects as well as assorted public-private partnerships.

Petroff sits on the board of directors for the Men's Arts Council. He was elected to a national committee for the Sigma Chi Fraternity, and is a member of the Arizona Association of Economic Development, CoreNet Global and Urban Land Institute.

Petroff is a Phoenix native and earned a Global Leadership & Management certificate from Thunderbird School of Global Management, as well as a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University.
